Luwjistik Order Cancellation

The Luwjistik Order Cancellation feature empowers customers by allowing them to cancel their ongoing orders before they have been processed, also known as the "first touch."

This innovative feature enhances the overall customer experience and smoother the cancellation process, reducing confusion and delays.

Here are some key benefits:

  • Client Empowerment: Clients gain unprecedented control over their orders, increasing satisfaction and confidence in our services.

  • Streamlined Process: The cancellation process is streamlined, minimising confusion and eliminating the need for extensive manual intervention.

  • Operational Efficiency: As manual interventions decrease, operational efficiency improves, ensuring that orders are processed promptly.

The Eligibility for Order Cancellation

The order's status determines cancellation eligibility with Luwjistik to the "first touchpoint." To provide clarity on this aspect, here are the specific criteria for eligibility:

  • Order Status: Your order must be in a state that has not yet reached the "first touchpoint" to be eligible for cancellation. It means that it has yet to be processed or handled beyond the initial stage of order creation. Orders that have already progressed beyond this point are generally not eligible for cancellation.

  • Meeting Conditions: For orders eligible for cancellation, the cancellation request must meet specific conditions, which our operational team will evaluate. If all needs are met, your order cancellation request will be approved.

How to Cancel My Order?

Now, let's delve into the steps to cancel your order with Luwjistik:

  1. Submit a Cancellation Request: Clients can initiate a cancellation request through the API or the Client Portal.

  2. Check Order Status: Our system will automatically check the order's status to determine whether it's before the first touchpoint.

  3. Cancellation Outcomes: Depending on the order status, one of two scenarios will unfold:

  • Cancellation Rejected: If the order status is beyond the first touch, Luwjistik will decline the cancellation request, and the request status will be set to "REJECTED." The order will continue to be shipped.

  • Cancellation Approved: If the order status is before the first touch, our operational team will be promptly notified of the cancellation request. If all conditions are met, your order cancellation request will be approved.

What Happens After Cancellation?

After successfully cancelling an order with Luwjistik, here's what you need to know:

  1. Upload a New Order: If you still need the items, upload a new order with a different code. Remember that the original order cannot be edited.

  2. Request Order Deletion: If you decide not to proceed with the order, you can request its deletion. Our admin team will handle this request efficiently.

  3. Billing Process: Once you've successfully cancelled an order with Luwjistik, it's essential to understand how billing will be handled. The billing process varies depending on the shipping status of your order:

  • If Your Delivery Has Already Shipped: If your order has already been shipped, you will be charged for the journey the parcel has taken up to that point. This charge covers the costs of processing, handling, and transporting the package from our facilities to the end of shipment. Please note that this charge is calculated based on the distance travelled and any services rendered up to the time of cancellation.

  • If Your Delivery Has Not Shipped Yet: If your order has yet to be shipped at the time of cancellation. The cancellation process at this stage allows for a straightforward adjustment of your order.

  1. Shipment: Once you've successfully cancelled an order with Luwjistik, it's essential to understand the next steps in the process, especially regarding shipments. What happens after cancellation depends on whether your packages have already been shipped.

  • If Your Packages Are Already Shipped: If your packages are in transit and the cancellation is approved, the shipment movement will stop immediately, and you'll be billed accordingly. With charges incurred, you can return to the origin, reroute, or dispose of it.

  • If Your Shipment Has Not Yet Begun: If your packages have yet to be shipped, they'll remain securely stored at our origin warehouse. You still have the option to return to the shipper, reroute, or dispose.

Note:

  • Please remember that billing adjustments are made based on the shipment status at the time of cancellation, and we are committed to maintaining transparency throughout the process.

  • For Smart Routing International (SRI), you will be billed for the entire leg of the journey, while for Modular service, you will only be billed for the touched leg of the journey.
